Paul Morton Choral Festival

Each year Downlands College hosts the Paul Morton Choral Festival, in memory of one of our past students. Paul was a young man who was always positive, enthusiastic and generous. He was a gifted musician, sportsman and academic.

This annual choral festival celebrates choral music in secondary schools in the region and allows choirs to perform in a non-competitive atmosphere while obtaining constructive feedback from a guest adjudicator. The evening culminates with a Massed Choral item conducted by the Guest Adjudicator in a moment that celebrates community and inclusion.
